Today I feel like a super organized cleaning machine. :) I am getting super organized at work and when I go home tonight, that is going to be all I do. Clean clean clean! Our house is so messy right now and Josh's brother and his girlfriend are coming over tomorrow night and I want the house to look good. That involves picking all of the piano sheet music up off of the floor, cleaning out Houdini's cage, giving Layla a bath, sweeping and dusting the whole house . . . wow, I had better go and get started.

Oh and in case anybody wondered, Richard Rodgers spells Rodgers with a D!

I had my first music class this morning. We were all supposed to bring in our favorite piece of piano sheet music so we could analyze what made the music so great. We had to work with partners and my dumb partner Jim brought in the music to "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. How am I supposed to give a speech on how MC Hammer music is the best on this earth? I brought in Beethoven . . .

I had such a good weekend. Chicago was awesome. Not only was the Cubs game awesome but it was so nice to get away from all of the clutter and all of the piano sheet music on my floor of my house.

I have to do laundry tonight. That has been the story of my life lately. How in the world do 2 people go through so many clothes??

Yesterday the phone rang while I was sorting out my piano sheet music and while I was on the phone, my dog chewed up my favorite book! I can't believe how dumb that was. If anybody knows where I can get a replacement, let me know!

While organizing all of my piano sheet music and other music books I stumbled across the music to the marching band piece "The Purple Twilight" by Robert Longfield. That was my favorite marching band show that I have ever seen. It is dedicated to the Challenger mission that exploded. The music just grabs your heart.

Today is going to be a long day. I am of course working which is a good thing, we are going out to lunch because Josh's cousin is moving, going to church and then coming home to bed. Wednesdays are always long days, and starting in a couple of weeks, I will have a class inbetween work and church. Great . . .

I saw the piano sheet music for the song "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake. I always laugh when I hear that song because he wrote it about Britney Spears and I think that the whole drama there is hilarious!

I am so motivated today. I have gotten a lot done today at work and I am planning on going home and being super organized tonight and getting tons done. Wouldn't that be great??? I think so. I really would like our house to be spik N span <---how in the world do you spell that word anyways??

Well, I have a lot to get done so I had better get started!

Last night was a busy and awesome night. First I picked up mom and dad from the airport. We ate a late lunch with them and took them home. After we chatted with them for a while I went to IPFW to get some stuff for school and then went to the mall to buy a shirt I wanted. After that we were going to stop at Petland really quickly so I could buy a couple of pet supplies. Josh and I always look at the puppies when we are there, but this time we saw the world's cutest puppy on the entire planet. Needless to say that even though we really didn't want to get a dog until after our Chicago trip, the dog is now ours and her name is Layla. I love her so much.

We are finding out that she kinda likes to eat paper though, so I need to make sure that I keep all of my piano sheet music and homework off of the floor!

Did anyone know that Bruce Willis has written lots of piano sheet music? I didn't know that. I watched the movie "The Whole Nine Yards" this weekend and it was hillarious. I noticed Bruce's name under the music credits. That is just nuts. I think he also has a couple of CDs out. Who knew. Bruce Willis is an awesome actor but whenever I think of him it reminds me of the whole Demi/Aston thing and that really bugs me.

Does anybody have any suggestions of what kind of dog I should get. I think I am getting one in a couple of weeks!

Man, today has been so busy. Between work and organizing my piano sheet music in my filing cabinet I have not been able to get anything else done! I just wanted to make sure that I got to say hi today!
